Among the new obligations that come with the French invoicing reform, e-reporting is probably the most discreet one… and the easiest to live with for beauty professionals equipped with an RDV360 POS. Good news: it will take care of itself. Here’s how.
E-reporting in one sentence
E-reporting is the transmission to the French tax authorities (the DGFiP) of data on your sales to individual consumers, in other words, what goes through your POS every day. It doesn’t mean sending an invoice to each client, but periodically reporting the aggregate data of your payments received.
Who is affected, and from when?
- Large and mid-sized companies: from September 1, 2026.
- Very small businesses, SMEs, micro-entrepreneurs and self-employed professionals (the vast majority of hair salons, beauty salons and spas): from September 1, 2027.
How often must data be sent?
An important point: the frequency is set by the regulations, not by your software. It depends on your VAT regime. Most beauty professionals fall under the VAT exemption for small businesses (franchise en base) or the simplified regime: for them, transmission is monthly or every two months. Above all, you have nothing to declare yourself at that frequency: the platform takes care of it.
E-reporting: how the RDV360 POS keeps you compliant
We have formed a partnership with SuperPDP, a platform approved by the French government. In practice, the sales data from your RDV360 POS is sent to the DGFiP directly through SuperPDP, with no action on your part:
- No platform to choose yourself for e-reporting.
- No setup: the integration is already wired on the RDV360 side.
- No manual filing: SuperPDP pushes the data at the right deadlines.
In other words, as soon as the rule takes effect, you are automatically compliant, simply because you take payments with RDV360.
What about your business-to-business (B2B) invoices?
If you also invoice companies (a works council, resale to a fellow professional, a service for a company), issuing those B2B invoices in electronic format goes through a dedicated invoicing tool: that isn’t RDV360’s role, since it’s a POS. RDV360 focuses on e-reporting of your sales to individual consumers, in time for the September 1, 2027 obligation.
Don’t confuse them
E-reporting (your sales to individual consumers) is different from receiving supplier invoices and from the NF525 certification of your POS (NF525 is the French certification for POS software). For an overview, see our complete guide to e-invoicing and e-reporting, and our FAQ on the 3 obligations.
